About Annamarie Dack
Life Coaching is not yet regulated in the UK, and there are no laws to determine who can define themselves as a Life Coach. As such I am very aware of the concerns parents and schools/groups may have when considering a youth coach.
Below is a summary of my training, skills and personal approach to coaching, which I hope will allow you to evaluate my suitability for coaching your youth with confidence.
I studied at BTEC level 2 & 3 in Life Coaching, with Newcastle College. My course with written in conjunction with Fiona Harrold, one of the UK’s most respected Life Coaches. In addition to this I hold full and appropriate insurance and supply details of personal police data. Full CRB checks are included in the cost for schools, as they are non transferable. (For further details please see Legalities)
In addition to my formal training, I have a wealth of life and professional experience to draw on when considering the difficulties our youths face.
I have previously spent 9 years working in educational course development and sales, followed by 2 years in freelance sales training. Following this I re-evaluated my options and what I really wanted before re-training in life coaching.
I have experience of raising a child with ADHD, as well as the complexities of step parenting and building a solid family base for troubled youths.
I believe that every child has unrealised potential, that life is sometimes unnecessarily hard for our children – and that coaching is highly effective applied to youths.
